Potential

When I first heard ’Potential’ I heard a trippy sound and I felt like I was “hearing” colors, so I wanted to explore that feeling visually. The series starts and ends with the reality of the relationship, but I wanted to capture the “potential” happiness that Rachel was so close to experiencing throughout the rest of the photo essay. We’re always seeking perfection, always trying to reach our potential, always trying to push ourselves and others to be a little better than we are.
